The Jackals was formed in 2004 by three evicted Zappa females and two males, one wild and from the Young Ones. After Brandy vanished in December 2006, her eldest daughter Midnight took dominance with a wild male named Shogun. In January 2008 Midnight was killed by a jackal and her daughter Darkness became the new dominant female beside Shotgun. He remained the dominant male for another year till he was found dead. The natal males were replaced by two wild males with Sark as the new dominant male. He succumbed to disease and soon after Darkness was overthrown by her daughter Foxglove. Both Darkness and Foxglove were taken by disease and Ruffian as the new dominant female.
Dominant Pair
As soon as the Jackals formed, Brandy, the oldest and strongest of the females, estaiblisted dominance. The Young Ones male Dizzy Rascal became the dominant male but he was killed within a year and Ousik became the dominant male for two years. Brandy was a successful dominant female and kept her sisters in their place. In May 2006 Brandy showed signs of TB but she then vanished and it was assumed she died. Her eldest daughter Midnight took over as dominant female. Sheperd held dominance for a few month before he and all the adult males left the group allowing three wild males joined the group, Shogun took male dominance beside Midnight. In Janaury 2008, Midnight was attacked by a jackal and killed and her eldest daughter Darkness became the new dominant female. Shutgun remained the dominant male for two years before his death. Last wild male Chaplan became the dominant male however he was kicked out of the mob by two new wild males joined the group. Sark became the new dominant male but he succumbed to disease within the year. Mandrake assumed the dominant male position in the absent of none natal males. Soon after Darkness was overthrown by her daughter Foxglove and died from disease followed by Foxglove. Ruffian became the new dominant female. A few months later the Pharside and Jackals switch males, Reister became the new dominant male.

June 2004: Dizzy Rascal became the dominant male. Taphin gave birth to Shephered. Two encounters with Asphodel.
July 2004: Soe Mi Ti aborted. Taphin was pregnant. One encounter with Asphodel.
August 2005: Brandy was pregnant. Seo Mi Ti and Taphin were evicted.
September 2004: Brandy gave birth to Twilight, Midnight and Glass.
October 2004: Taphin aborted. Ousik went roving. Two encounters with Parside.

August 2006: Shephered, Twilight, Owl, Emersyn and Dexter went roving.
September 2006: Shephered, Twilight, Owl, Emersyn, Dexter and Skunk left the group. Shotgun, Dogder and Snapper joined the group. Shotgun became the new dominant male.
October 2006: Snappyer and Dodger went roving. One encounter with the Nomads.
November 2006: Brany was pregnant. Glass, Panda, Raccoon and Mileigh were evicted. Snapper and Dodger went roving.
December 2006: Brandy died. Midnight became the new dominant female.
January 2007: Destiny was predated. Glass and Ragdoll were pregnant. Chaplan, Snapper and Dodger went roving.
February 2007: Ragdoll aborted. Glass gave birth but lost her pups in a burrow raid by the Pharside.
March 2007: Midnight was pregnant. Glass, Raccoon, Mileigh, Ragdoll, Panda and Data were evicted. Raccoon was Last Seen.
April 2007: Midnight gave birth to Hyzenthlay, Eucalyptus, Triss and Rubber
May 2007: Snapper, Dodger and Chaplan went roving. Two encounters with the Asphodel. Feathers was killed.
June 2007: Midnight and Glass was pregnant. Glass, Raccoon, Mileigh, Ragdoll, Panda, Data, Sandy and Birdy were evicted. Mileigh, Panda and Data left the group.

November 2009: Two wild males named Sark and Whales joined the group and kick out Chaplan. Sark became the new dominant male.
December 2009: Teasure aborted. Brown Eyes was pregnant. Three encounters with Pharside.
January 2010: Darkness was pregnant. Treasure, Hangman's Bride, Brown Eyes, Foxglove and Ruffian were evicted. Treasure, Hangman's Bride and Brown Eyes left the group.
February 2010: Darkness gave birth Enobaria, Zenyatta and Rach
March 2010: Whales and Mandrake went roving. Three encounters with Nomands and one with Asphodel.
April 2010: Darkness was pregnant. Foxglove, Ruffian, Lyric and Shimmer were evicted. Whales, Mandrake and Watch Eyes went roving.
May 2010: Darkness gave birth to Flame, Seabiscuit and Red Rum.
June 2010: One encounter with the Nomads.
July 2010: Whales was Last Seen.
August 2010: Darkness was pregnant. Foxglove, Ruffian, Lyric and Shimmer were evicted. Darkness was overthrown by Foxglover who became the new dominant female.
September 2010: Sark died from TB. Mandrake became the new dominant male.
October 2010: Foxlgove was pregnant. Darkness and Ruffian were evicted. Mandrake, Watch Eyes and Beetee went roving.
November 2010: Foxglove gave birth to Mariah's Storm, Sonador, and Starbeam. Darkness was absent, showing signs of TB

February 2011: Foxglove gave birth but lost the litter to the Nomads. Foxglove died of TB. Ruffian became the new dominant female.
