Like the Chuckle Bors Mob, the Cowboys Mob is a term used for permanent rovering males no longer attached to a breeding group. The Cowboys isn’t a real mob. There is no breeding dominant pair. Groups can only be consisted a new mob when there is a dominant female. Since this is a term for rovers there are no females in the Cowboys so there for the Cowboys are not a real group. Meerkats in the Cowboys don’t have to be roving with each other to be considered in this group. They just have to be roving. Most often males join this group when their birth group died out or they are kicked out by a group of unrelated rovers who emigrated into their birth group.
